Each Fly Away BMS block weighs 50 grams (1 3/4 oz) and contains 14.75% active ingredient. A single block measures approximately 2 ½ in diameter and 1 inch high. To deploy, simply hang the block near bird roost, perches, or anywhere birds are a problem. A single block provides coverage equivalent to a sphere of 10 ft in diameter. Because Fly Away BMS blocks are not physical barriers, do not use this product to prevent transmission of avian borne diseases to humans. Once deployed, the Fly Away time release process will automatically begin. Active ingredient will be released in a stronger, more powerful concentrations for the first 2 – 4 weeks to dislodge established birds. After this initial period, the active ingredient will continue to be released at a lower concentration to remind wondering birds to stay away. The total life of each block is approximately 4 – 6 months depending on rain, humidity, temperature, and sunlight. Because Fly Away BMS blocks are not physical barriers, do not use this product to prevent transmission of avian borne diseases to humans.
